.
As many of you may know, Tony Snesko spent almost every weekend,
and several days during each week, from June until the November 2nd
election in front of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC with his
informational displays of reasons why Kerry was Unfit for Command
See the SwiftVet Forum thread What this site is all about {June 16, 2004}
......
Larry Bailey, of the Vietnam Veterans for Truth, discovered Tony's idea
and turned it into a nationwide campaign using Tony's displays to provide
others with their own ability to spread the word of John Kerry's true colors.
......
The effort was termed Operation Street Corner and was a huge success.
With the help of volunteers from throughout the US, displays were placed
on street corners in over thirty-eight states thoughout the period running
up until election day.
......
At a Victory Party at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth on January 15, 2005
the VVFT and Pete Webster presented Tony with a magnificient model of
the Swift Boat Tony served on out of Da Nang in 1966. What a wonderful
tribute for a wonderful sailor that gave his all to both organizations
......
......
Congratulations to Tony and also to all the many participants that devoted
their time and effort to bring the truth of this presidental election to voters
The Navy term BRAVO ZULU meaning WELL DONE is very appropriate.

from Terry's link, emphasis mine
Quote: | These must be some bad hombres, but they sure look like ordinary Americans to me. On the other hand, I know one of them, so I didn’t learn how wicked they were until the mainstream media told me.
It's frightening! What would happen if one of these dangerous men moved into my town? Would they have to register as Political Offenders? Would I know how to avoid them?
I don’t see fancy Washington suits appropriate for Republican operatives. I don’t see any Bush PR flacks telling them what to say. Where are the big bucks that mercenaries get?
All I see is Americans who bravely served their country long ago, risking their lives in Swift Boats during the Vietnam War.
There must be more to this story….

To Kate.

Cannot move into your city, just too dangerous being this fat, old and with bad sight. They are worried that we would fall on you and end your life. Democrates protect you to the grave from us Swifties. _________________ Terry Boone PCF 90

I feel I owe a lot to these guys that put it on the line. Sadly, I think their names will be forever tied to Kerry.
They don't deserve that! _________________ Hillary and Kerry in '08? Something smells!! |

Host: [Scott Swett]
Guest: [Tony Snesko] [Pete Webster]
Scott Swett will interview Tony Snesko and Pete Webster, both of whom are Vietnam veterans and members of the Swift Vets and POWs for Truth. Tony Snesko also worked with Vietnam Veterans for the Truth (sponsors of the Kerry Lied Rally) to pioneer street activism techniques later used around the country in Operation Street Corner (see OperationStreetCorner.com).
Mr. Snesko spent every weekend during the summer manning an information booth near the Vietnam Memorial in Washington and talking with passers-by about John Kerry's real record during and after the Vietnam War. Pete Webster is a Swift boat veteran and a retired attorney who worked to educate the public about John Kerry by means of an Operation Street Corner display in Florida, and who used networks of Vietnam veterans in Florida to get the word out. Mr. Webster has extensive military and civilian legal experience, and will be discussing the implications of Kerry's strange 1978 DD-214 discharge certificate that appears to represent an upgrade from an undisclosed less-than-honorable discharge | .
Replay is available at the site
great listen, Tony Snesko had great anecdotes about his OSC, Mr Webster getting into that discharge, discussing Carter, board of inquiry, etc _________________ .

I prefer to think that Kerry's defeat, thereby preserving the Constitution and saving the Republic, will be linked to their names in history.
