http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/apeurope_story.asp?category=1103&slug=Cheney%20Parka

You have the AP writer as well as the Washington Post fashion police commenting on Cheneys appearance.

quote,

Quote:
"Cheney stood out in a sea of black-coated world leaders because he was wearing an olive drab parka with a fur-trimmed hood," Givhan wrote in Friday's Post, also mocking Cheney's knit ski cap embroidered with the words "Staff 2001" and his brown, lace-up hiking boots. "The vice president looked like an awkward child amid the well-dressed adults," she said.

Crap like this makes me laugh. You have two socialist egalitarians commenting on Cheney's utilitarian apperance. If that was Clinton they would be commenting on how great of a person he was for taking on a subtle apperance out of respect for the common peoples loss of life in world war II as opposed to the elitism of the Park Avenue upper class he sat with.

They loved John Kerry's barn coat though.

The weather was crappy, wind rain and snow. Chenny dressed to stay warm and they have a problem with that. I wonder if they were just commenting on a photo or if they were actually there? I somehow doubt that they exposed their precious little hides to that weather.

I work outside in winter weather and I think that anybody who criticizes someone who dresses warm rather than stylishly is a damn fool. They said that Chenny wore a look more suited to blowing snow. If that is true then they should have said that Kerry's barn coat was more suited for shoveling sh*t. Come to think of it, that's not a bad way of describing Kerry's campaign.

How petty can you get!! They don't mention Cheney's heart
condition. He was smart to dress as he did for that kind of weather.
Anyone with a brain knows that extreme cold is taxing on the heart.

Sniff, Sniff, these are the same twits who while sipping their chardonnay and nibbling at their camembert comment on the boorishness of red staters who drink Bud and eat redskin peanuts. Evil or Very Mad

Boxer's showboating last week, Kennedy's bloviating this week, now this............let'em alone, so's they can continue turning red states redder and purple states pinker. Middle America recognizes BS when they hear it and these people still have not learned their lesson in regards to that.
There is midterm elections coming up in slightly less than a couple of years from now and they will get another old fashioned whuppin'.

a bunch of liberal Kerry lovers over on another forum are really blathering around about this! Can't believe what those people do with their time! of course, if bush or cheney parted their hair wrong, they'd jump all over 'em (wrong is what??? matter of opinion!); let Kerry or Clinton have 3 parts and it's a new fashion! geeze!
maybe Cheney lost his luggage (ha ha)... who knows and WHO CARES???

THEY just b**ch and bicker about everything and anything republican !
next thing you know they'll submit a bill to outlaw the color red !

you'd think one of them would be smart enough to figure out that junk is why they lost and they'd stop it! (do we really want that?)

come on over if you want to read some real liberal griping!

It really does make me sad that there are SO MANY people like this in this country / world.
