Gary Aldrich references the Swiftees a couple of times in this call to arms:

He, like many are mystified by W's seeming rapproachment with Bill Clinton and fears the worst. I don't. Aside from the old adage of "keeping your enemy closer" I think I see nice media positioning for the Pres. Being with the Pres gives Billy to do his thing with the press. His thing is high key 'me-me-me". Then W comes along low key matter-of-fact. The contrast is striking. MSM doesn't get but I think it gets through to enough of us.

Interesting observation - and spot on, too. Smile

Dubya contrasts well with all his detractors. Unlike "the Teflon President," this one is a real human being as well as a principled leader.

The article was right on about Hillary.
I live in Erie County, NY and although I did not vote for her she, unfortunately, is the senator for where I live.
Erie County is currently in severe economic trouble facing the layoff of probably a quarter of the public local jobs. The Erie County Executive recently asked Hillary for help from the New York State government for relief on some state mandated items that are forcing the county into bankruptcy. Hillary's very pat and short reply was "Erie County's problems are Erie County's problems." The bottom line translation, "Don't bother me, I'm only in it to run for president. I don't actually want to help the people I represent."

This coniving politician should NEVER be president. She shouldn't have even been senator.

Although I was already onto it, it was Aldrich's book Unlimited Access that sold me on how wrong the Clintons were/are to hold the office of President. Unbelievable continual displays of disrespect for it. Reading that book prompted me to read everything I could find on them.
