Our President gets it, and so will the VA....be interesting to hear the 'wisdom' of the Senate once it passes the House........

Actually, I firmly believe that at least a small part of this budget increase is a result of the excellent communications afforded to Veterans in the past year, positively influenced in no small way by the success of the Swiftvets site....where we all stayed tuned to keep up with current events. I am 'much smarter' now than I was before the Swiftvets moved me from Kerry's Baby-killer closet back into the 'family room'....and very appreciative as well, of course!

Of course the majority of the increase is simply the fantastic effort by VA Secretary Principi, now replace by his successor, Secretary Nicholson...What a one two punch. Ya gotta admire our President's selections in this critical juncture!
