I have noticed that many people on this site are upset about Kerry speaking out against the Vietnam War.
My question is why wait until 30 years later to refute his claims? Why wasn't something done 30 years ago? Or was it? |

Simple.
He wasn't running for president aand CIC 30 years ago. _________________ "If he believes his 1971 indictment of his country and his fellow veterans was true, then he couldn't possibly be proud of his Vietnam service." |

You need to browse around the forum and do a little reading. That question has been answerd here MANY times in great depth.
The short answer is "Kerry made his military history a campaign issue". |
