				| Here is my theory about how the Dems are going to try to impeach Bush by using the missing WMD as the basis for their plan.
To start, they really are trying to make a repeat of the Nixon years. It's getting a little bit too obvious though. Let's take a look.

During the Nixon years, there was a strugle for power in the CIA who were heavily involved in the Bay of Pigs, yet there was no investigation. Nixon tried to clean up the CIA and brought in someone besides Felt who thought he should have gotten the job. So, the CIA set out to destroy Nixon by building a web of lies around the president.

William Saffire sums it up nicely in 1973.

Information Bank Abstracts NEW YORK TIMES
 August 2, 1973, Thursday

W Safire poses list of 'howcums' of accumulated resentments against Govt in light of Watergate affair; questions howcum lack of investigation of massive vote frauds in '60 Kennedy-Nixon Pres campaign has never been called a 'cover-up'; howcum there has been no clamor to investigate investigations inflicted on '68 Nixon-Agnew campaign; howcum it is laudable to raise funds to ransom Cubans recruited to land at Bay of Pigs but terrible to raise funds for 'support and lawyers fees' to Cuban-Amers who broke into Watergate; howcum it was right for IRS to hand over tax returns to Kennedy investigation without so much as written request when it is wrong for Nixon investigators to even breath intitials 'IRS'; howcum wrath of civil libertarians so properly aimed at misuse of Govt power to 'get' individuals never managed to get cranked up (with exception of W Morse) at misuse of Govt power by R F Kennedy to 'get' J Hoffa; howcum D Schorr of CBS, who as subject of FBI harassment has more reason than any other reporter to be angry at this Adm, has been reptg Ervin hearings with restraint and insight while C Stern of NBC has felt free to indulge his biases; howcum nobody is asking now what 'foreign intelligence reasons' were given for unconscionable tapping of M L King's telephone, or about propriety of FBI agents seeking to leak contents of those tapes to newspaper editors.

I am sure we can make a much bigger list of "howcum's" today that would put this list to shame and wouold be too long to even begin the task.

Today, Bush is also is cleaning house in the CIA and has brought in Porter Goss who for some reason is not liked at the CIA. Apparently this dislike has caused some High CIA officials to resign. However, the CIA has been trying to hang Bush on the WMD issue since day one and the constant Bush Lied mantra still exists today. This leads me to believe that the WMD that was in Iraq was disposed of by the CIA.

It all started in 2002 with Joe Wilson who was sent to Niger by the CIA to find out if the claim about Iraq trying to get Uranuim was true. Joe comes back with the revelation that the documents were fake. This was still not enough for them, so they decide to yell fire by accusing the Bush administration of retaliating by outing Joe's wife who is a CIA operative working in the Oil industry. Now they can claim that the ruthless Oil hungry hunta of the Bush administration has put national security and the life of a CIA agent on the line to cover up the fact that there was never any WMD in Iraq.

Even though Joe Wilson has been discredited and the information regarding Iraq and Niger has been verified, don't be suprised when Kerry starts to bring up the outing of Joe's wife in the coming days to give credence to the non existant evidence in the current Downy memo.

Now this brings me to the old senile man smiling at his front door and pertending to be Deep Throught. This is nothing more than a dog and pony show to give the upcoming "secret sources" credibility in wake of the Rather disaster. Whenever a "secret source" is questioned about the upcoming WMD cover up stories, the MSM will point to their new "Poster Boy" to give themselves an excuse about the importance of keeping sources protected.

It's going to be an interesting next few years to say the least. All we have to do is make sure that the Rupublicans don't lose their majority in the House or the Senate in 2006.

				| The whacko left is all too transparent. The only way they can regain a majority is if the Republican leadership shows no cajones. Well, maybe we better get after our leaders. If they continue to roll over they will get rolled. _________________

Washington State showed today that all that matters is make sure the Judges are on your side. Cajones is secondary to judicial appointments and elections.

Before they make fools of themselves, the Dems & any other congresscritters better read the reports of their own committees
US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence
 http://intelligence.senate.gov/index.htm

 >Report on the U.S. Intelligence Community's Prewar Intelligence Assessments on Iraq 521 pages
 >Conclusions (Excerpted From Full Report) 30 pages

nothing in there to support an impeachment, pretty much exonerates the Administration, blames CIA

saw the same intelligence info as Bush

				| The Democrats need to elect majorities before they can even think about it. Otherwise it is all bluster. It will not elect people either. _________________
