I saw something encouraging tonight. Access Hollywood, a nightly entertainment tabloid show on NBC, had a segment on tonight where Dean Cain, tv's Superman and Hollywood actor visited Iraq. He began the segment saying that the most important thing was to 'keep his promise to the troops.' He basically said they wanted him to tell the world that the news (MSM!) is getting it all wrong. And he did. He began telling how the atmosphere over there is 'nothing like they show on tv,' and that the 'morale is great and positive' and they are all happy to be there doing their duty. Mentioned how they are accomplishing great things. It continues tomorrow. Way to go Dean Cain! I am your newest biggest fan. |

Produced by Sergeant Jim Blaine, American Forces Network Iraq."

This makes me feel good.
Ya know just reading drudge the past two days......... Kofi Annan says things are coming around in Iraq. Ellections on schedual etc....
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/06/20/AR2005062001176_pf.html
Now today Biden says just the opposite.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/06/21/AR2005062101474_pf.html
Every moment that passes these past couple of years it is getting clearer and clearer there are elements of the MSM and our Democratic party that think nothing of outright lieing thru thier teeth in pursuit of thier own wishes.
Think where'd we and the situation in Iraq would be this moment if John Kerry had actually been ellected?
Look at those two web adresses above. They are nearly identical. Both the Washington Post on susequent days.
If I were in the buisness of reporting news, as the post alledgedly is I'd be printing up something investigating why you have the head of the U.N. saying one thing and a U.S. Senator saying much the opposite.
Unfortunatly given the two personalities involved I feel in need of a bath at the prospect of considering the credibility of either of them. |

~snip~
"The two were well aware of the dangers of combat missions, thanks to accounts from soldiers. They visited hospitals and spoke with wounded troops, and witnessed the lengths that military medical teams take to save a human life - even if it is the life of an enemy.
"We met a soldier who was shot, ... and the assassin was shot in the head," recalls Cain. "He shot one of our soldiers and then received excellent medical care from our people."
~snip~
"Cain said the scene was different from what he initially expected. "It's not what you see in the news every day. It's a bunch of really strong, hard-working Americans who are protecting the liberties and freedoms that we enjoy at home every day, and we should all be a whole lot more appreciative of them than we are," he said." |

We would all get lawyers to claim torture by the U.S. gevernment as we'd all be lying on the floor in the fetal position with a pile of our own hair next to us shiverring and sweating at the same time ::heebiee jeebees::
No brand new Bibles for us Prayer would be banned all together. Reciting of the 10 commandments would be considered hate speech. _________________ Enlighten the people, generally, and tyranny and oppressions of body and mind will vanish like spirits at the dawn of day.
