Has any one noticed there are only about 20 Pro-Kerry people on the forum. Only about 8 pro-Kerry who post topics. Of the 160+ topics Drug Dealer Craig ( who thinks dealing drugs is an honorable profession ) has 18 topics or about 10% of all the topics, most of which are nothing but a bunch of BS. |

Carl,
If I may bore you with my opinion on the proKerry/antiBush group.
Let me begin with an observation of young children who crave attention. Some kids are so spoiled they will do anything for attention. If they think someone else is getting all the attention they will do anything, even something outrageous, to focus the attention back on themselves. It is why you can't take them out in public.
A large fraction of what we hear from the anti-Bush crowd is designed to anger the establishment. There are literally thousands of examples. The current example is Craig and his comments about drug dealers. No one is that stupid. But some people are that self centered that they will make such comments. It's the only way they can make themselves known. Stalin called them "useful idiots" because they were so easily manipulated. The liberal establishment welcomes them for the same reason.
In my opinion, the best way to deal with Craig and his kind is the same way you deal with a kid who farts in church or starts screaming at the restaraunt. Deny them the attention they crave.

CNN (Communist News Network or Clinton News Network -- you decide) posted this site so that all of the Socialists wanting us to become part of the EU could spew their party line about how they think Kerry sux -- but that Bush sux more. What an endoresment for Kerry. _________________ Top 10 Weasels.com is where Kerry is Weasel #1 |

Since 299 people out of the 468 registered have not posted anything at all, I am curious if you are assigning them a position. I am likewise mystified by your statements "...20 Pro-Kerry people....8 pro-Kerry who post". If they haven't posted, then how do you know they are pro-Kerry? |

Interesting view.
People tell somewhat of their backgrounds but most of what they reveal is what they figure to present themselves in favorable light and maybe something that is relevant to their knowledge of a thing.
There were some issues of recent about security in prison - I've some experience regarding conditions where it might take only a few cops to maintain control over large numbers of prisoners. And them two places mentioned in Iraq were somewhat different. I though it nuts to put less than fifty guards to take care of seven thousand. Someone seemed to think that was secure enough but I gathered didn't realize what that was of an open place with just fence and concertina wire. The other place where it was tiers of cells is the sort of environment where a few can easily enough maintain control.
I thought that I had made myself know well enough before I mentioned that.
Folks were free enough to ask me about some of my observations that might have been relevant to some topic of the moment or free to carry on with some b****ing like a judgmental fool. Don't matter to me. Only a little of my motive was to give as a 'gift' to the bitchy who love to have something to ***** about.
Now I suppose you must have laid up nights trying to come up with the tripe you bitched above and what did it get you? You manipulated me into making a reply.
Now don't you just feel all clever and warm inside?
Oh well, I am trying to make some sense of that person who claimed there were given numbers of this and that politically aligned persons registered to this group.
I don't even know where he got the notion that Craig thinks drug dealing to be an honorable profession. Craig can think of a lot of professions that are not so honorable nor dishonorable in themselves but there are honorable and dishonorable persons who might involve themselves.
As for what Craig thinks of it not the jerk never bothered to query Craig about his deciding to quit and of what Craig might think about it at the moment.
But it does bring to mind of a discussion circle (circle jerk I called it) at CRC where a person was required to sit in the middle of a circle of folks and talk about his self.
There was a black guy - who I considered a buddy - stated some stuff about how he was somewhat of a racist when he was younger. His point was about how he came to not be so but most of the jerks in the circle proceeded to rag on him as if he were expected to justify being racist now.
Was funny. When it cam my turn I gave a little lecture that pretty much challenged them to turn on me like they had some others. My stay in the center was pretty quiet and short. No one even had balls that time to say "They all say that" when I spoke of what I had done and that I had not done what I was convicted for.
Anyway. I know a little about medium and minimum security prisons. The one compound sounded to me like having maximum security prisoners in minimum security quarters. The other that was a real prison appeared to me to be relatively easy duty. May well be some of the safest soldiers in Iraq. |

Good point, Romani ite domum. Carl, why do you consider people who didn't even post to be "conservatives"? There's no "point" to miss...it's clearly a wrong assumption. |
