When the media is interviewing one of the swiftvets, don't you think it would be to their advantage to first give a very brief education to the public on exactly what swiftboats are and what they were used for.
Most people have no clue. The media / demo's are not going to take the responsibilty to help people understand. That would be considered a "no-no" to the media. 250 million americans are not going to read the book to find the truth. Millions will have a chance to see/hear an interview on TV/radio by a swiftvet.
Educated people become informed people. Uneducated people, as we have seen, do not like to get involved in debate because it makes it all too obvious that they have no clue as to what the actual debate is about.
Please do us, non-military, citizens a favor and educate us. We need the soccer moms by the coffee and water cooler "debating" this. As of now, they have no idea what a swiftboat even is....
