"A New York Times reporter has been sentenced to jail for refusing to reveal her source in the leak of a CIA official's identity.
"I am ready to accept your ruling," Judith Miller (search) told .S. District Judge Thomas Hogan/"

"Miller, along with fellow reporter Matt Cooper (search) of Time magazine, were held in contempt last fall for refusing to comply with the federal subpoenas. But on Wednesday, Cooper agreed to testify about the person or persons who leaked the identity of a CIA officer.
"I am prepared to testify and I will comply," Cooper told Hogan Wednesday.
The hearing on Wednesday was to decide whether Cooper and Miller should be jailed. They had faced up to 18 months in jail for refusing to testify."
