It takes a special person to work day by day in an environment where it is impossible to distinguish friend from foe. " also need to read the article in columbus ledger, kerry keeps talking, you can get to it from Rush |

I'm surprised he would describe his time in the Senate like this.
Or, was it his command of his Swift Boat?
Nah, actually, I think he's discussing his membership and time with VVAW
Like N3 said, Johnny, the election is over, YOU LOST!!!!!!!!!!!, like your leftie counterparts in Congress are so found of saying, time to move on. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

This is just too good not to poke holes in:
As we celebrate Independence Day, between the war in Iraq and the new opening on the Supreme Court, Americans are reminded of the critical importance of freedom. This is a big moment in our country's history - a time for unity, strength and a national commitment to protecting what makes our county so great and so strong.
President Bush has a big decision on his hands over the next few days with the resignation of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. He can protect our freedom and preserve balance and (Liberal) moderation on the Supreme Court with a nominee who puts the Constitution first or (last) play to his extreme base and try to take away our civil rights, privacy rights and Roe. V. Wade.
This choice may be his, but we have the power to remind him of the consequences of his decision. I will not stand by and allow the President to divide this country and I know you won't either (You and whose Army Johnny?). We can't and we won't accept a nominee who will not commit to privacy rights, civil rights and Roe v Wade. Nothing less than our freedom hangs in the balance.
The johnkerry.com (Idiot Brigade) stands ready to mobilize to protect and preserve the Supreme Court if the President should make the wrong choice for America. We hope and pray that he doesn't and instead acts in the interest of all Americans by choosing a nominee who will stand up for the Constitution and the civil rights of all Americans and protect our right to privacy and Roe v. Wade.
Gawd this clown is really a blowhard. He really thinks Bush gives a Tinker's Damn what he thinks or says. Johnny this time throw your own medals over the Whitehouse fence.
So where were you Johnny when the Liberal Supremes took someones property rights away?
God saved America from this Neophyte politician once, hopefully he will continue bless US with His grace.

OMG
can this man hear himself?!?
and..what was he saying 30 years ago
Quote: | Supporting Our Troops
The first definition of patriotism is keeping faith with those who’ve worn the uniform of the United States of America. Our obligation is to keep faith with the men and women of the American military and their families-whether they are on active duty, in the National Guard or Reserves, or veterans.
We must be mindful of what America has always asked of our servicemen and women. It takes a special individual to see your buddy get hit, and put yourself between him and incoming fire so that medics can tend to him. It takes a special person to work day by day in an environment where it is impossible to distinguish friend from foe.
But they do it. And they do it well.
They are sustained by the bonds they share within their unit, and by the love and strength they draw from home-from their families, their spouses, their children, their parents. Military families are unsung heroes who receive neither medals nor parades-giving everything they can to the men and women they love, men and women who have been called to war. They answered the call. And so must we-with a new commitment to smarter defense policies and better care for military families.
Those who have stood for us should know that we stand with them, today and always. Each of us here today can do something to ease their burden – but truly supporting our troops requires that we act not just as individuals, but as a nation. We owe our troops the opportunity to serve in the best-planned, best-equipped, and best-led military force in the world, and we owe them the peace of mind that comes from knowing that they and their families will be taken care of if they sacrifice life, limb or the ability to sleep without war’s nightmares. We owe our veterans the honor and respect of a grateful nation. We owe the men and women of the American military and their families not just thanks and best wishes, but action, and action in our nation’s capital. In today’s ever-changing and perilous world, there is not a moment to lose.

Yes we do, Johnny boy, but it seems you have a record of consistently voting AGAINST military spending!! _________________ “I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death.” (Thomas Paine, 1776) |
