The events in London have allowed the West to awaken from a coma induced by the Liberal Left and Liberal MSM since September 11, 2001. The images of broken and bleeding Brits have brought the true face of terror into living rooms around the West once again. The “stiff upper lip” displayed by the British is admirable and inspiring and reflects the same unity and resolve we showed in America after our National tragedy. It is unfortunate that it takes the loss of life in your own front yard before your Nation awakens from the Liberal induced coma.

PM Tony Blair’s support for fighting terrorism was waning among the British people during the past couple of years and the Liberals were gaining in strength. It would have been only a matter of months before Britain would have been forced to scale back their overseas efforts with the war on terrorism. The “Bully Pulpit” in the “House of Commons” was becoming more hostile each time the PM made his appearance. The British people had slipped into a deep coma and terrorism was an American problem created by America.

Unfortunately a growing number of Americans have also slipped into a deep coma as the Liberal Left and Media feed upon our setbacks in this war, which is destined to go on long past the current administration of President Bush. Hopefully these images will awaken our own Nation to the threat confronting us all in the free world.

It is not hard to find evidence of the coma as you look at the news coming out today. The images and statements of Muslim scholars and clerics denouncing the attacks are displayed prominently in the western MSM today. This is unfortunate since there is an entirely different story being told in the Islamic press and Mosques around the world. There is a mood of celebration for “The Martyrs of London”. I imagine if you sat in one of the coffee booths in Amman, Istanbul or Cairo the conversations around you would show the same support. The western MSM coma machine continues to induce coma and the true story never gets out, as we continue with our ingrained sense of fair play and respect for all religions.

It is my hope that the truth will come out one day and all Freedom loving Westerners can remove their rose colored glasses to see the world for how it really is and the imminent dangers we are facing. It will take a unification of all freedom loving peoples around the world to defeat Islamic extremists over the next two or three decades.
