I have no idea about this upcoming film, but seeing it is to be narrated by Hilary Swank and Kevin Costner, both big sKerry supporters, I remain highly skeptical.

There is a trailer and pdf files of the full interviews with the 5 people this movie is associated with at the web site below

Swank and Costner narrate Sept 11 documentary

Oscar winners Hilary Swank and Kevin Costner have signed on to narrate a feature-length documentary based on the report of the national commission that investigated the September 11 attacks on the United States.

In a statement issued by the producers of the film On Native Soil, Swank said she was in lower Manhattan "that terrible day".

"I was drawn to the project by the amazing stories of the 9/11 families and survivors featured in the film and I am proud that by contributing my voice to the project, I can help their voices to be heard."

The documentary focuses on the stories of five individuals who survived the attacks, while probing the findings and recommendations of the September 11 Commission.

It is largely presented from the point of view of the victims' families, who struggled with the US Government for more than a year to force an investigation.

It includes interviews with members of the bipartisan commission and a former top FBI counter-terrorism official.

Costner says a rough cut of the film was enough to convince him to get involved.

"It's honest, it's serious and it's not political. This film tells stories every American will and should want to know," he said.

In its report published a year ago, the September 11 Commission found "failures of imagination, policy, capabilities and management" by the US Government and recommended a sweeping overhaul of US intelligence services.

The film is expected to be released this year.

On Native Soil

Reading the interviews of the two former FAA Red Team members, it's hard to tell just who all they feel are traitors. Bush is mentioned, but the timeline presented seems to point more at Clinton.

I guess time will tell.
