Scott McLellen said Bush will nominate a person who reflects mainstream opinions on the law. ??? _________________ “I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death.” (Thomas Paine, 1776) |

When I first heard this, I thought ok, mainstream opinion is that Judges should follow the Constitution and not make law. That's cool. But then McClellen went on to say that Breyer and Ginsberg are good examples of the kind of person the President is looking for! WHAAAT??
The President said this morning that in consulting with the Senate he is asking them what's it going to take to get a nominee through!
