Quote: | "All over America there are efforts to restrict access to the vote under the guise of preventing voter fraud. And I say guise --- look at this Georgia bill, all the ID you've got to produce to register to vote," Clinton said at the opening session of the National Association of Black Journalists convention at the downtown Hyatt Regency hotel.
Clinton called on Congress and the Bush administration to support extension of the portions of the Voting Rights Act that would otherwise expire in 2007, and he said he thought voting rights should be extended to those who have been convicted of a crime and served their sentence. |

I actually do live in a red state.
WI only goes blue by the margin of fraud. The universities have been carting bus loads of students from precinct to precinct equipped with factious addresses for 20 years. Then they go out and round up the homeless give them some free smokes bringing them to several different precincts. When a voter ID bill comes before the democratic governor it gets vetoed out in the face of strong public support. They know if they have to play by the rules that WI goes red.

The very idea!
What nerve!
Wanting ID to check eligibility for voting.
I tell you. It's just absolutely an-American!

All as we ask is that you are who you say you are. And you live where you say you live, and that you are an American that legally can vote. Perhaps the Iraq purple thumb thing would work at least that way people would have a hard time voting more then once.

Right on! Just like it is un-American to ask for an ID when alcohol is purchased, or a traffic policeman stops them, or when they cash a check, or buy a car. Hell we should eliminate this ID thing all together and call ourselves, I don't know, Illegal Aliens from Mexico maybe.
Bill put down the crack pipe and listen to yourself.
