New nuke sub named for Jimmy Carter.
Now that's just not right.
Most heavily armed sub in the fleet too. Must be full of peanuts.
Saw on Fox that he got to ride on it. They should have had him inspect the torpedo tubes from the inside of them.
Oops Chief! I didn't mean to press that purge button. The boat rolled and I lost my balance.

Let's pray the boat fairs better than the man.
It's a shame to give a US Navy vessel that name, Elmer Fudd would have been better. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

Well we probably do need to pray for the crews of that one. Sailors are historically superstitious.
Submariners even more so. I wouldn't go to sea on that boat for love or money.

I agree. However, think of the value of that boat's name. All enemies who hear the dreaded Jimmuh is near will be so busy laughing they might get caught by surprise.
This is another reason I went Army. Nobody gives a damn what they call the foxhole. Nobody has to endure the shame of being a plank-owner of the SS Peanut. |
