Anyone who live in the area of the presidents ranch in Crawford should take some time to support our troops, and protest Cindy Sheehan. The press is giving her all sorts of coverage, all positive of course! Someone needs to draw attention to what a dispicable liar she is.

Ideally, another Gold Star Mother should step forward and set-up right next to Sheehan. One can hope.

It would seem to me that Cindy Sheehan is betraying this caveat of the Gold Star Mothers Organization.

For Cindy, it's all about her!!

From their Website:

Quote:
Gold Star Mothers
Honor the dead by serving the living

AMERICAN GOLD STAR MOTHERS, INC.
Headquarters
2128 Leroy Place NW.
Washington, D.C. 20008

Our headquarters facitilities were purchased by the organization May 7, 1954. Members records and other orgnaizational information are kept there, also a publication of the American Gold Star Mothers News Letter is put together at the Headquarters. The publication contains photographs and items of interest as a method of keeping members informed of organizational news.

This is a group of mothers whose sons or daughters died in combat serving our country in order for the American people to live in peace and have all the freedoms that we enjoy today. This was by choice. The price was great. We must never take our freedom for granted and we must always keep our loved ones who paid the ultimate price alive in our hearts. It is important to the Gold Star Mothers not to draw attention to themselves. Our Mother's motto is "honor the dead by serving the living."

What we most want to do is help our veterans and their families as well as our community as much we can, also to set a good example of love and patriotism for our country and for our veterans. The most fulfilling service I give is to our veterans in the VA Hospital and nursing homes. All a person has to do is walk into one of the facilities and look around, look into those dear ones eyes. When you are in public, just look around and take the time to realize what you are seeing. Lets count our blessings and share them. There are so many places where we can make a difference in someone else's life.

There was a time when the Gold Star Mothers could support their organization, but we are so few in number now (less than 2,000 in the United States) that we are unable to do this any more. This is good in a way because it means we are not losing so many of our men and women to war. Once a year the Gold Star Mothers come together in a goup somewhere in our U.S., usually in the National President's home state with a convention to honor our veterans and our deceased Mothers and Dads, as well as for fellowship. But most of all, it brings attention to the needs of our veterans throughout the United States. Many of our veterans join in with us and it is wonderful being with them. We not only get to enjoy them, they do so much for us too.

We are asking for your support through donations since we are not funded by any government agency. All we do depends on our limited financial ability. Most of us are on a fixed income and are about at the end of our resources. Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated. This will help with our convention and help us carry on with serving the veterans and our community. God Bless you and thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to read my memories.

Ann Herd,
American Gold Star Mother.[/b]

Check out the links at their site, http://www.goldstarmothers.us/

American Gold Star Mothers is a SERVICE organization dedicated to helping Vets and quote "also to set a good example of love and patriotism for our country and for our veterans".

Cindy Sheehan founded her organization co-opting the GOOD NAME of this long-standing organization, to launch her diatribe and hatred against President Bush. I wonder how many people realize the difference. They just hear Gold Star Mom and think it's the same organization!

It is shameful how the MSM is using this woman. She needs help, not enabling. We all grieve the loss, but she is missing the purpose. Pray for her and the family.

~snip~
"Judith Young, national president of the The American Gold Star Mothers of America Inc., said she is concerned the public will mistake her 76-year-old Washington, D.C., nonprofit organization with Sheehan's group.

In Young's group, commonly known as Gold Star Moms, mothers whose children died in the line of duty volunteer in veterans' hospitals and programs. Members don't do advocacy work, Young said."

Why does she not try to talk to the troops that served with her son? People that I know that lost loved ones in VN wanted to know about his service over there from those that served with them and to my knowledge she has not done that. She dishonors him, the rest of her family and all the other troops by her lip service to the extreme left. I feel sorry for her son but not for her, he was a career military man and knew the risks. God Bless him and be thankful there are others that are Patriots willing to risk their lives for this Country and there are chicken ***** unwilling to make such a sacrifice, even in the time of Peace.

THose worthless sluts over at huffingtonpost are obsessed with Cindy Sheehan. She has become simply "Cindy" to them.

I have tried to post over there but they read every thing first and never publish my opinions. Oh well, not surprising.

Her husband has had it too. He has filed for divorce. Sad. How come the MSM has not asked what he thinks?

It is sad - I feel so sorry for the rest of the people in that family. She has turned the loss of their son into so much more pain than it had to be.

Rdtf, you forgot the OTHER interesting page (2)! (3 and 4 are just legal stuff Wink )

7.
-e. (request that) Respondent pay legal fees and cost
-f. (request that) Respondant pay Petitioner Spousal Support
-g. (request that) no Spousal Support be paid to Respondant

Respondant = Ms. Sheehan (of course)
Petitioner = Husband (soon to be ex?!)

Personally, I think it was cruel to post this to the public in the first place... but since it's here for all to see, might as well use it to show what she really is (and has done to her own family in the process).

EDIT:
I wasn't referring to you Rdtf, I meant TSG.. Wink Wink
