For a couple days a thought too frightening to contemplate has fleeted through........but then it became a source of comfort......sorta.

Now would be the very worst time for a terrorist attack, even if only symbolic like a stink bomb on a subway somewhere to create the Baghdad bridge effect.

You know the enemy knows this and would if they could. The fact that they have not means someone is doing something effective to stop them or they are planning something big enough to make passing up this opportunity to create havok, worthwhile. Each day that passes without an incident is a blessing.

Along with the prayers and concerns for the victims of Katrina, we must contimue to pray for those who are watching, sleuthing, analysing, intercepting, disrupting, preempting, distracting and killing......especially those on the frontlines, here, in the ME and around the world.
