|
|
"The ceremony also honored network TV's veteran news anchors, the retired Dan Rather of CBS and Tom Brokaw of NBC and the late Peter Jennings of ABC. Rather and Brokaw drew a prolonged standing ovation when they took the stage."
The bubbleheads in attendance at that event probably weren't even aware of Uncle Dan's complicit involvement in Memogate. And if they were, they more than likely thought it to be a good thing. Dan Rather is "retired". Yeah, he's retired and so is Slick Willy, both in deep shame, to those with the morals to at least understand basic differences between right and wrong.
Ellen de Generes hosts the Emmys and a citizen with the character of John Roberts has to sit in public and undergo demeaning questioning as to his ability to serve this country.
What an upside down world we're now living in. |

Morals, right and wrong. What's that? Aren't they some old fashioned concepts that are no longer believed in? |

Questioned by: Ted Kennedy.... Manslaughter from alcohol abuse, abandoned someone in his charge until he could get to a lawyer.
Joe Biden... Head of the ethics committee..... proven plagiarizer |

A prolonged standing ovation, heh.
Considering the audience that was applauding was entirely made up of Hollywood Leftist twits, what else would you expect? Ho hum. The reason I never watch any of these idiot award extravaganzas. _________________ “I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death.” (Thomas Paine, 1776) |

I agree, never have seen them, never will. At least I would know the name brand of the paint. I have no clue who any of those Hollyweird moonbats are. _________________ 8th Army Korea 68-69 |

Its getting so that every week there is a new award show from hollywood on tv. I think they keep inventing them until they have given each other an award every year. Yet, look at what they are putting out in theaters and on TV, not to mention the political crap they are spewing and you can see there are very few actually talented, intelligent people out there. In the days of kings the people who did the entertaining were called court jesters or fools, which I think is a better name for them. |
