I figured they were communists. They say they are quakers and menonites, yet those people stick to their own business. These are communist activists aligned with the nihilistic death cult of islamism who declared war with America and our ally Israel.
They will soon have their heads cut off and I would hope this would send a mesage to their fellow hate Americans and Jews, yet doubt it will. These are fanatics who wish the destruction of America and Israel and are hardly the peaceful people they claim to be. If they truly believed in God they would see the evil they sympathize with. These people are as Christian as Pol Pots DK were Democratic.
Article 1 Excerpt
Quote: | Recently, CPTers accompanied a group of nineteen Palestinians who decided to
seek refuge in Syria from the night raids, arrests and torture-induced
confessions their community has suffered. They are still camped at the
Syrian border awaiting entry. Their 1948 status as "guests" in Iraq does not
allow them to migrate to neighboring countries. Members of their community |
Article 2 Excerpt
Quote: | I have just returned to Baghdad after accompanying a
small group of Iraqi Palestinians to the Syrian
Border. Palestinians are faced with increasing
unemployment, detentions, beatings, kidnappings and
house raids in Baghdad. They are also not allowed to
become official citizens of Iraq. Nineteen
Palestinians have now made the trip to Syria
accompanied by three members of Christian Peacemaker
Teams, a member of Muslim Peacemaker Teams and a
translator. The journey began on the first day of
Ramadan, a time of fasting and prayer, as well as a
time for hospitality and generosity to those in need. |
Article 3 Excerpt
Quote: | After two years of searching, Waleed is still trying to find his nephew,
Yasser, last seen in U.S. military custody in spring 2003. The nephew has
been part of CPT's Adopt-a-Detainee Campaign, and Waleed has come to our
apartment often to share information. While trying to find Yasser, he has
also helped other families with their searches. When CPT held vigils in
Tahrir Square in spring of 2004, he joined us a few times, holding Yasser's
photo. |
This one is taken shortly after Sept 11, 2001...Just to show it has nothing to do with the war in Iraq.
Article 4 Excerpt
Quote: | Dozens of Palestinian friends and strangers phoned or approached members of
the Christian Peacemaker Teams in Hebron throughout the day to express
condolences for the catastrophe in New York and Washington. Several times
when members of the team said they had no television, Hebronites responded,
"It is better. No one should see these pictures."
At no point in the course of the day, did team members witness anyone
celebrating or even speaking with approval of the disasters. |
Of course not.
I think you get the idea.
Of course the CIA might of put some operatives within the CPT and in that case this would be a blow to our intell, but I have a hard time feeling empathy for our enemy regardless of how they masquerade. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

They showed a tape on Fox of these four guys sitting on a couch.
No blindfolds, no restraints, just sitting on a couch. Doesn't look
like other tapes of hostages to me. Something just isn't right about
these new tapes. _________________ Tin Can Sailor |

The Italians maybe are negotiating their release and setting up transportation to the airport. They have experience secretly negotiating with terrorists.

It could be a propoganda ploy the CPT and Al Queda are coordinating together. It makes no sense for Al Queda to kill 'useful idiots' so propoganda is a much more logical conclusion.
Lenin didn't start to kill his useful idiots until his command was secure and Al Queda is hardly in command. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

Not only were they not restrained or blind folded, it appears they were snacking and imbibing on the latest Fox news report. Wouldn't it be amazing if the terrorists would release them in a good faith gesture just to emphasize their " true" attitude towards christians who only want, " Peace in our time", seems like I've heard that phrase used before. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the U.S. blamed for their kidnapping and their present predicament.

El Rushbo proposed this as a possibility. He does not trust the veracity of these people and I agree. The likelihood of a stunt is there, so do not be surprised. _________________ 8th Army Korea 68-69 |

Every time I hear of fools going there 'for peace", I know they want to be captured and make a big media frenzy out of it. This happened here in Japan a year or 2 ago... and there are always more dimwits (can't say what I want to call thme on this respectable board) to go and do this stuff...
The majority of Japanese people here let the Japanese 'hostages' know that they were pretty much equivelent to rat turds when they came back to Japan..
