I stumbled across this article on FreeRepublic and was amazed that any long time writer finally sees what has been happening. He also sees where to go for accurate information

The Republican leadership in both the House and Senate should resign immediately because they are ineffective, incompetent, stupid and clueless as to what needs to be done to protect this country, to fix internal problems quickly and rationally, and they have no backbone for a fight with the Demonrats. Rep. Dennis Haslert is a nice guy, but he's too slow in a fight. The first one to draw and fire accurately wins, and he can hardly get his gun out of his holster. With Tom DeLay out of the picture, perhaps we are witnessing a new wave of younger Republicans who will have the guts to fight the Democratic Left the way they should be fought, to the death, because the security of the United States depends on it. |
The article goes on to mention his dismay and displeasure with the media, wherein he mentions depending on other sources, including the Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation.

Good article Lew. The more exposure that is given to the Communist infiltration of this country's political leaders and new media the better.
Folks need to understand that a concerted effort is being made to subvert our goverment.

Don't forget the ruthless gang of attorneys that call themselves the ACLU.
Anything that's good for America they oppose in a court with a likeminded judge (an attorney with a black robe)
Some idiot judge ordered the defense department to release the names of all the detainees in Gitmo! And the defense department agreed to do it.
The next thing we will see is some judge ordering the defense department to withdraw all our troops out of Iraq.
Don't we all know that "war is unconstitutional?"  |

- The distortion of language and meaning to undermine the individual's perception of reality;
- The use of direct or threatened physical violence to suppress speech and individual freedom;
- Politically "correct" thought control and cultural relativism to undermine reason and rational debate;
- The promotion of environmental hysteria to undermine progress, industrialization and capitalism
These activities represent the most serious assault on reality, reason, and individual freedom since the twin beasts of communism and socialism rose up early in the 20th century. And, though seriously wounded, they are rising again in a new and more virulent form.

FDL is right on the money here folks.
Well said FDL. You have put their strategy and the tools they use out in plain sight where it's easy for all to see.
Add in their 'fellow travelers' in positions of power like Kerry, Kennedy, Harkin and several others and the 'useful idiots' like Pelosi, Reid, MSM and the Islamofacists of the world and you have the makings of an eventually successful impact on our way of life.
As I've said many times, they did it before and they are doing it again. Instant replay of Vietnam. And the end game remains the same now as it was then. The Communist takeover of the world.
They are closer to making this happen than we think.

Thanks Navy wife! That is what I was going to post but yah beat me to it!!!!!!
Max Friedman also lives out here in Arlington. I had written a piece on ChronWatch about Vets and homelessness and somebody emailed him my article. To my surprise he emailed me and asked me to continue on with such articles because the vets have been so misrepresented. Mr. Friedman was also in Nam and did quite a lot of journalistic endeavors including writing several books about what went on there. He is one of the 'good guys"!

I'm just sitting here chuckling to myself. That is one fine piece of writing.
Things as they are.... it could not have been done as anything else but a 'rant'. He covers allot of territory there. I will be spreading this one around, thanks for the find. |
