The Aug 16, 2004 Time report by the Clinton associate, Joe Klien wrote the following in his piece, "America Divided? It's only the blabocrats,":
"A flying squad of Vietnam Veterans--not directly related to the Bush campaign--launched a slime atttack on John Kerry's war record."
My letter will be going out to Time and Klein shortly.

After some effort, I finally found the article you mentioned in your post. Joe Klein didn't refer to SwiftVets by name but he did slam the group of Vietnam Veterans by using the phrase "launched a slime attack on John Kerry's war record" to infer that we are less than honest in our opposition to Hanoi John. |

Yeh, I noticed he didn't mention the Swiftees by name, but his implication was pretty clear. Thanks for finding the article and posting it. |
