Pawn Shops, Dry Cleaners & the Shoe-Shine
There is an inverse relationship between dry cleaners, pawn shops and the economic health of a community. The greater in number of dry cleaners and the less in number will be pawn shops. The community with dry cleaners out-numbering pawn shops will be economically healthier. This is not a spurious correlation, rather a direct inverse if we use people and their behavior as the common variable.
Check your yellow pages and see whether the pawn shops out-number the dry cleaners and does this argument correspond to the economic view of your town?
Btw, forget about finding a shoe-shine in towns ruled by the pawn shop. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."
