I'm watching Hannity and Colmes talking to the father & wife of one of the accused Marines.

The father, of course, said that Murtha's comments were out of line, since Murtha wasn't there to witness what happened.

Colmes, of course, is defending Jack Murtha by saying "but somebody high up in the Marine Corp must have told him this", and blah, blah, blah.

I just wish he would have responded with the classic line I remember from the '04 elections: "Yeah, but he wasn't on the same boat", Alan.

So true, so true and Fair and Balanced. At least we could see the boat ahead of us and this High up member of the Marine Corp was not even in Iraq. BS and distotion reigns in the far left.

Alan Colmes would argue about where the sun comes up I believe.
He's a real piece of work that one is. They invented the phrase....self rightous especially for him.
Add the phrase.....world class idiot on behind and you have an apt description of Alan Colmes.
When they were handing out common sense, he must have been taking a nap cause he hasn't got a lick of it.

I sure wish somebody would talk about what a "poser" Murtha is. He was in Korea and Vietnam as a Marine officer. Supposedly he was wounded in Vietnam and was awarded the bronze star. He NEVER actually served in combat as he served in some rear-eschalon position. He never received these awards because they were turned down. Years ago Murtha asked the repub congressman in his district to see if he could get these medals. When the congressmen found out there was no basis for the awards, Murtha decided to run as a congessman in that district as a democrat. I guess we see where Murtha is coming from. Same "poser" as Kerry. Where do the dems find these guys?

I'm not sure you could get anything provable and accurate.
My reasoning is basically this article:

http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewSpecialReports.asp?Page=//SpecialReports//archive//200601//SPE20060113a.html

It all appears to be arguable, but (like Kerry), Murtha appears to have gotten a lot more heroic as the years have progressed.

That's the article. There are others. Just Google to find them.

I am not finding any new stuff on Google.
...
under what possible circumstances, would an
Intelligence Officer be put in combat,
and then do something heroic?

are there any witnesses to the incident?,
what about 'medal review' boards,

do we even know the date,
of Murtha's heroic act?
