So a large group of Sunni insurgents will cease fire if the US promises to leave in two years..........
What I want to hear from The President, Sec Def, Sec State or anyone else with clout is not more resistence to a timetable but the following.....
"We would have been out of there two years ago if you *#%@&%(s had not followed the lead of the US anti-war crowd thinking you could out last GWB. Here's the deal. Turn in your weapons and the terrorists and start doing something productive and we are out of here tomorrow. Until then you better dig your hole deeper."
There have to be many in the anti-war crowd nervous tonight that those guys may in fact quit the fight. How ironic....an anti-war group vested in the continuation of a war. |

The aren't vested in anything except opposing everything and anything that doesn't further a liberal agenda. _________________ Swift Boats - Qui Nhon (12/69-4/70), Cat Lo (4/70-5/70), Vung Tau (5/70-12/71) |

BuffaloJack,
Exactly, Their devotion to their agenda and lack of any moral compass, that allows them to take illogical and morally pretzled positions, forces them into being anti-war (when Bush is the CinC) and pro-war when the continuation of said war causes Bush political problems. |
