Worth the read if only for the punchline:
Quote: | The next big attack will likely be nuclear. How prepared are we to gaze upon miles and miles of radioactive dust, where millions used to breath before they ceased to exist? I am worried there are not enough politicians willing to pledge their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to prevent it. What may save us is the plain fact that D.C. is one of the targets. |

Ronald Reagan in 1964 wrote: | We are at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind, and if we lose that war, and in doing so lose this way of freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening.
| The complacency in the American public and in our lawmakers (not you Mr. Bush) is appalling.
Nobody believes it will every happen and as a result will be totally surprised when it does. _________________ Swift Boats - Qui Nhon (12/69-4/70), Cat Lo (4/70-5/70), Vung Tau (5/70-12/71) |

I think Bush and Congress are complacent about border security and they are both a failure. They fail to secure our borders and ignores the concerns of the American people. In the the future next elections I will vote for the person who will try to secure our borders and back the effort in the Middle East.
Sorry Kerry, you will never get my vote cause you are a loser in so many ways. _________________ Terry Boone PCF 90

This is a very good point and one which has always given me comfort. There is no doubt in my mind we will lose a city to a nuclear device if we continue to handle diplomacy in the manner we currently do. Lets face it we have a UN which runs prostitution rings, slave trade and drug trafficking while it turns a blind eye to millions being slaughtered in Rwanda and the Sudan. Add to that a bribery system where the human rights violating nations such as China get a seat at the table for the cost of a penny.
What gives me comfort is most my family lives in the mid-west or outside of LA on the west coast.
Personally, I think the terrorists will nuke New York and still cannot fathom how New Yorkers could vote for Kerry in 04'. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."
