Yeah, remember in the campaign, sKerry made a speech about his daughter's pet hamster which he brought back from the dead by (I think) giving it mouth to mouth resuscitation.

That is one heck of a video, by the way - the music, the lyrics, the images. Tough to watch all the way through, though. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Thanks guys
JEM, I found the images, most of 'em anyway, on a government services site somewhere. - titled something like "100 greatest war images". I've got the powerpoint file here somewhere. I'll try looking for it and post the exact location. Other images I just plain stole. I'm using it as a demo around Nashville and other places to show how a video/still treatment would work and impact. If some artist doesn't pick it up soon, I'm gonna pursue putting it out myself.
YES! Heres the page: http://www.hooah4health.com/spirit/greatphotos.htm

(about a 3.6 meg download)
Oh, any self-respecting hamster would rather STAY dead than have The Poodle blow 'im. _________________ James Hooker

You picked the right pictures James, you picked the right pictures.
The way you can learn allot about people by asking them what kind of music or films do they like and why..... The question with that video is, which picture/lyric finally pushes you over the edge to star tearing up.
The Bandaged guys in Korea, I'm pretty sure that's where that shot was, that one and the pic of the POW's returning with the girl running all out..... man.
Anyone who's waited at a airport ten hours for someone to get back from Nam feels that pic instantly.
You picked the right pictures! |
