Toward a North American Union
The global elite, through the direct operations of President George Bush and his Administration, are creating a North American Union that will combine Canada, Mexico and the U.S. into a superstate called the North American Union (NAU). The NAU is roughly patterned after the European Union (EU). There is no political or economic mandate for creating the NAU, and unofficial polls of a cross-section of Americans indicate that they are overwhelmingly against this end-run around national sovereignty.

To answer Lou Dobbs, "No, the political elites have not gone mad", they just want you to think that they have.

The reality over appearance is easily cleared up with a proper historical perspective of the last 35 years of political and economic manipulation by the same elite who now bring us the NAU.

This paper will explore this history in order to give the reader a complete picture of the NAU, how it is made possible, who are the instigators of it, and where it is headed.

It is important to first understand that the impending birth of the NAU is a gestation of the Executive Branch of the U.S. government, not the Congress. This is the topic of the first discussion below.

The next topic will examine the global elite's strategy of subverting the power to negotiate trade treaties and international law with foreign countries from the Congress to the President. Without this power, NAFTA and the NAU would never have been possible.

After this, we will show that the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is the immediate genetic and necessary ancestor of the NAU.

Lastly, throughout this report the NAU perpetrators and their tactics will be brought into the limelight so as to affix blame where it properly belongs. The reader will be struck with the fact that the same people are at the center of each of these subjects.

Any North American Union receiving my support would first only be called The United States of America.
Where do they get these nut-cakes that dote on this stuff?
The US of A would never turn its authority over to anything that involved the graft, corruption problems displayed by our neighbors to the South.

Geez Jack, that was an eye-opener. From an article by Jerry Corsi in one of the footnoted links...

Quote:
Meet Robert Pastor: Father of the North American Union
by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted Jul 25, 2006

In his pressing enthusiasm for realizing the NAU, Robert Pastor argued in a 2004 article in CFR’s Foreign Affairs, entitled “North America’s Second Decade,” that the United States would benefit by giving up U.S. national Sovereignty. “Countries are benefited,” he wrote, “when they changed these [national sovereignty] policies, and evidence suggests that North Americans are ready for a new relationship that renders this old definition of sovereignty obsolete.”

Characteristically, Dr. Pastor has seen the U.S. as a North American bully that needs to be restrained, for the good of the region and possibly even for the good of the world. On Oct. 21, 2003, he testified to the House Subcommittee on Western Hemisphere affairs along these lines:
A new approach to the Americas needs to begin with some humility and a willingness to bridge the post-Iraq gap. The United States needs to realize that its power has limits and obligations. U.S. power can compel other governments to take our agenda seriously, but if we brandish it or ignore other views, we unintentionally invite resistance or simply no cooperation. To achieve our goals in the region (and elsewhere), we need to listen more and lecture less.

...and, as their poster boy Kerry's campaign foundered, their panic (or Kerry's?) prompts a Kerry endorsement...

Statement by Robert A. Pastor supporting John Kerry for President
National Press Club
October 6, 2004

...Like veterans and diplomats, Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) as a group have tried to keep the organization we served above politics.
(ed. The implication, of course, that Pastor et al can actually SPEAK for the "organization they served") But this election may be the most important of our lives, and we cannot sit it out.

<snip>

Our friends are distressed with President Bush's arrogance and unilateralism. Today, they can distinguish between Bush and the U.S., but four more years of President Bush could irrevocably stain the image and the influence of the United States in the world. And if that occurs, we will never again be safe - no matter how strong. That is why we who have served our country's pursuit of peace, decided to raise our voices for change. We cannot afford "four more years" by President Bush. It will be hard enough to contemplate four more months.

We need and the world needs new leadership for America. John Kerry and John Edwards will provide that leadership. They will unleash the energy and idealism of America. Our allies and friends are so hungry for an America that will show some respect, they are likely to respond with an abrazo, an embrace.

This election is about the future of America and its leadership in the world. A vote for President Bush means that we will be fighting virtually alone a rear-guard insurgency. A vote for John Kerry will be a vote for a more secure America in a grand cooperative alliance that will be faithful to our values and interests.

By the way, where do these "one-worlders" even get the right to use "PeaceCorpsOnline" as their domain name!!!? This cabal is HARDLY entitled to propagandize using that name and their website even contains the qualification...(emphasis mine)
