Flammable Liquid Found Aboard U.S. Domestic Flight
23 August 2006: An investigation conducted jointly between investigators from the Northeast Intelligence Network and CanadaFreePress.com, acting on information provided by a well placed source within the airline industry, has found that the threat to our airlines – even those originating within the United States and Canada – does not appear to be over. The recently discovered UK based plot to detonate explosives on international flights into the US might have a greater reach and pose a greater threat than originally reported.

On Saturday, August 19, 2006, an alert member of a flight crew aboard United Airlines flight 94 from San Francisco(SFO) to Newark(EWR) made a rather startling discovery: a bottle of “Aquafina,” emptied and refilled with a yellowish liquid was placed in the galley of the aircraft, on a back counter near a coffee warmer.
... a Hazmat crew found that the bottle contained a “flammable, highly explosive liquid that has no legitimate commercial purpose.” ...

Why don't items like this get the attention of the MSM?

Rush was talking about the media's lack of decent coverage yesterday. From an interview with Marvin Kalb, he quoted;

Quote:
Today, the media appears to be broken down into camps where Fox prides itself on being pro-America, pro-democracy, pro-freedom...

People today turn on the news not to find out what happened, but to get confirmation of what it is that they already believe. And in the Middle East, we are involved in a battle of biases, with everybody believing that he has discovered the truth. One should learn, in that part of the world especially, truth is very hard to find, and the person, the reporter, who has the guts to say "I don't know" is the one who ought to get the Pulitzer Prize.

Rush EIB

Kalb sees a problem with any media being "pro-America, pro-democracy and pro-freedom?" And, we don't turn to the news to learn what happened, to confirm what we already believe? If that isn't leftist elitism I don't know what is.

Who is telling us what to believe? The media. Who determines truth? The media. And, who slants the news to fit their own agenda? Again, hte media.

In a nutshell, Kalb has explained why we don't see what we should be seeing. Obviously, they have geared up to confrim what other leftist elites already believe and truth be damned.

That one is so bad it doesn't pass the giggle test. The least they could have done was to bend the mounting flange down and pop out the windshield forward. But, I'm sure the MSM will say only, "It's time to move on."

If they bother to address the issue at all. Confused

Has there even been a peep of correction from any of those media outlets that bought into this BS and propagandized against Israel?

I'll bet not. And I sure wouldn't hold my breath, waiting for one, either. Expecting the media to just report the dang news becomes more foolish and naive every day - much less expecting that they will actually take responsibility for its errors and outright deceptions.

This ridiculously faked incident is just the tip of the iceberg I believe.

I feel bad for our soldiers in Iraq. They must see alot of this reporting.

I remember a widely reported news item during the Afghanistan conflict.
Seems US soldiers had killed hundreds of villagers in a remote area.
Weeks after the AP report went in all the MSM papers a Time or Newsweek reporter
went to the village hoping to get some more juicy details.
The reporter asked around for the person who was the eyewitness.
Someone pointed out an old man and then asked "How much did he get for that story this time?".
Seems he was blind and had been telling the story ever since the Russians had been in Afghanistan.
Each time he would add a few more casualties and enhance it and charge a little more.

Wow, Pete,

That's a classic! and I'm guessing NOT a joke! Perhaps now we know why the Jihad Marketing Dept. has chosen its media outlets...CNN, BBC, CBS...they pay more for the stories!

They do. The MSM has decided we don't need to know about it.

It might color our thoughts against such critical Marxist-Socialist topics like diversity, oppression caused by White Privilege, Islam as the Religion of Peace, the US as the Great Satan, and Jews as Apes and Pigs.
