Well, the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva used that excuse to dismiss the extensive, well-documented expose of media fraud by Zombietime on the Red Cross Ambulance fraud.

The International Committee of the Red Cross has rebuked Foreign Minister Alexander Downer for relying on an unverified internet blog to claim an Israeli missile strike on one of its ambulances in southern Lebanon was a hoax.

A spokeswoman for the ICRC in Geneva said yesterday there was no evidence to support Mr Downer’s assertion that the international media had been duped in reporting that Israel had deliberately targeted the ambulance.

Mr. Downer is the Foreign Minister of Australia, who called the MSM to task for fraud at "Downer accuses media of Lebanon Hoax." Downer clearly has a pair.

As for the ICRC, I'm sure they didn't even bother to look at the Zombietime photoessay.

Sound similar to the dismissals of Swiftvet claims by a certain Democratic presidential ex-candidate and Christmas Visitor to the Enchanted Land of Cambodia?

The ICRC took the time to remove a high resolution picture of the ambulance in question from their website yesterday . I have the image downloaded days ago when this story first hit.

Old rust and some new rust ( orange vs deep red )

A very clean flange that held the missing ventilation dome.

A great number of foot prints on the top of the roof.

Evidence of hammer or axe marks, ( I believe from a rescue tool such as a Haligan bar )
