In the Post Dispatch here in St.Louis, and editorial by Eric Mink states:
This bill allows government agents to seize legal residents of America, keep them in jail without charges, without trial, and without proof of wrongdoing. This is not what I have heard but need to prove he is not telling the truth.
He goes on to say that no one will be prosecuted for any abuses of prisoners that occured before 12/01/05, including those responsible for AbuGhraib. Haven't those responsible already been charged and sentenced?
He said this bill also allows testimony obtained from torture, including rape. Say it ain't so.
This editorial writer has spent years blaming Americans for everything, but I haven't been able to pin him down on his falsehoods before, but am hoping to prove him wrong on this. |
