'Known Al Qaeda Terrorist' Nabbed in Khost
US Forces captured a 'known Al Qaeda terrorist' along with five other men, including Saudi and Pakistani nationals, according to a statement released by the Coalition today. The identities of those seized in the Khost City raid have been withheld pending the sensitive nature of the operation

There's a lot of speculation about who this 'known terrorist' is.
The Freepers are going nuts speculating on it. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1733567/posts

Anyone care to guess?

We'll just have to wait until positive IDs are made and the info can be released.
I won't believe anything until Mr. Bush says who it is.

BuffaloJack timely post to say the least.

With 3 Navy Carriers in the Gulf and an election on the way I speculated
something might occur.

But I think any election day surprise could backfire.

I'm actually expecting something the day AFTER the election. Something
involving Iran.

This is a surprising development but if we pull Mullah Omar or someone else
out of a hat on election day it might backfire big time.

Hope it something big anyway.

I totally agree.
My Bush might be saving it for the day after so as not to be sued by the Dems for rigging the election.
I will, however, watch to see how big a smile he has on his face.

By the way, Islam Today says the known terrorist is a former Saudi; but they are probably speculating like the Freepers.

It if was some one really big, the caption would not be "US Forces captured a 'known Al Qaeda terrorist' ". It would tell us his name or say a MAJOR AL QAEDA terrorist was captured.
Then the guy on the Grassy Knoll" will be found who killed Kennedy and the theories will look like we are really streaching the imagination of what was reported.

I have a really vested interest in this site and when posts start getting imaginary thoughts, we are getting really off base and our mission.

This site was to challenge Kerry in his run for POTUS but it seems as lately it has become something else. We should stay with what this site was about and not become a parallel think ? group as the DU and diminish what we have done by all this rambling and speculation of topics not related to Kerry or Bush.

This is not a Bush sight or a Democrat or a Republican site, it is a site Dedicated against JFK Period.
