This week, in an unannounced and little covered trip, departing Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld paid a surprise visit one last time to the troops in Iraq. Reading about the visit on FreeRepublic and at DoD link, one phrase really stuck in my head from one of our convoy commanders;

Why am I more patient than someone sitting at home in Fort ‘Livingroom’?”
