In listening to Hannity this afternoon he was talking about 527 organizations. If I heard him correctly Switvets and other 527 organizations will not be able to play any additional adds after September 2, as a result of the McCain/Feingold lesgilation.
Is this true? If it is, then what is the next step for this organization between September 2 and the election? |

My understanding is that 527 groups are exempt from the McCain-Feingold restrictions on advertising before primaries or elections.
It's the reason that George Soros poured millions into MoveOn and Americans Coming Together.
He just never counted on the Swiftvets actually having something truthful to say about his favorite party's canididate!
