Here's a great photo snapped by "euphoriadev" (Kit Jarrell of "Euphoric Reality" blog and "GOE" Webmaster) from the recent GOE Memorial Day event in D.C. with accompanying commentary from "SFC Coffey"...
SFC Coffey says:
Just to set the record straight this is SSgt Tim Chambers and he stood there the whole time! Just one Marine with no replacements! Also a little more info is this is the 5th year he has done this by himself, he does this for himself, for no pay and has to use his own resources to come to Washington DC, and his own leave time. A finer example of a Marine can not be found.
