Hey all, Freedom from this kind of persecution is what our government is trying to prevent by arresting Vang Pao and confiscating all that he and his people have worked so hard for. My God, we are truly the "Ugly Americans!"

These people worked for us and with us to fight the NVA in Vietnam and are now trying to remove an oppressive communist government so that freedom will reign for the Laotion people. Peaceful means have failed for the past 30 years so the Hmong are attempting to win their freedom by force, I think we as a people would do the same thing.

We espouse freedom and liberty and then thwart it like this! Such hypocrites we are.

My heartfelt rant!
