had someone give me the Faqcheck (sp??) version of Kerry vs Swiftboats info.
that was enough to boggle my brain. (it may die from reading that jumble of misinformation).
I'm sure I have all the correct stuff - out in my many 1,000's of docs !
just wondering off the top of anyone's head about a few things -
weren't the boats about 14 x 50 (or thereabouts)? I remember figuring my trailer was about the size of a boat.... I use it to figure the distance from 'shore' etc and decided my tree and dry wash were about as far from my trailer as 'shore' would have been - and I could surely hit my trailer if I were standing at the tree ! it'd be hard not to hit it.
the faqck site says the enemy had machine guns? is that what they had?
how wide was the channel? 45 ft? the sanpan in the middle ya'll had to go around?
and somehow I had in my brain Kerry's boat was up front - not at the tail end (tho that doesn't surprise me.... see if the others make it thru, then I'll stick my toe out there...)
I'm not gonna go back at 'em with much anyway. I don't see any Navy docs listed as a source for the info on faqck - I'll point that out to them. it's mostly a "kerry said / Rassmann said" piece.
