Enemy Vanishes From Its Web Sites

The intelligence blunder started with what appeared at the time as an American intelligence victory, namely that the federal government had intercepted, a full four days before it was to be aired, a video of Osama bin Laden's first appearance in three years in a video address marking the sixth anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001. On the morning of September 7, the Web site of ABC News posted excerpts from the speech.

This is unforgiveable.
We have lost a valued intelligence source.
I hope that a thorough investigation, charges and jail time for the blabbermouths come out of this mess.

Friggin' idiots.

People are likely going to die because of this - there isn't really any way of measuring how many. The people responsible for this "leak" should hang for it - this is worse than bad-mouthing our own country and providing moral support to the enemy. This is counter-intelligence on behalf of the enemy - we used to call it "treason," back when we had more good sense and less political correctness.

Someone has outed a network that has provided copious amounts of information to our intel - and our intel's public comment is a shrug of the shoulders. No one seems to much care.

Where are all the people who were so vocal about what a dreadful crime it was to "out" Valerie Plame and clamoring for heads to roll because of it? Their silence is deafening.

The people responsible for this must be
punished. With that said.

the Bush administration's handling of
the Plame affair, does not inspire confidence.
