Ok, SWIFT's, you have gotten their attention in the press. Fox, CNN, CNBC on TV and a big play in the UK Gardian, NY Post, and Chicago Sun. If I were your media advisor I would recommend 1 more week (week 2)on the Cambodia story. Push the second tier dailies, Detroit, Lexington, Houston, New Orleans, Charolette. Invite them to a telephone conference call have ONeil and Leston on the call. Frame it on the Kerry responses and blow holes in them. Have faxed them a press kit on those issues. If you are lucky one or two will run with it as an A-2 or 3 story and hopefully it will hit the AP news wire.
Going into week three you have to let the Cambodia thing fade. I don't know what you had planned but week 3 you need to come out with your number two salvo. The news channel needs a new 'hook'. And I would feed this directly to the same list of outlets above that have broke this story so far. If you do the conference call get the fax numbers of the attendees, make sure they are part of the distribution especially if they becomes a news wire source.
So far Kerry has been unable to respond adequately to your charge. Best I can figure is that lacking substantive counter argument he's hoping for the Cambodia story to disappear. If you second item is of the same calibre of charge the major outlets will at this point be unable to hold back and will have to change tactics or lose credability.
