Sometimes what they don't say may be as important as what they do say. Witness this commentary by Michael Kranish, one of the "chosen 3" designees of Kerry's SF 180. It seems clear to me (at least in this most recent commentary) that Mr. Kranish now acknowledges that the jury might be out as to the "fairness" (dare we say veracity?) of the SVPT campaign against Kerry...nor does he take a position on Kerry's allegation that the SVPT "grossly distorted" his (Kerry's) record other than simply stating the fact of Kerry's allegation. Interesting...VERY interesting...

Then came the group called Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth, which launched an all-out effort to destroy Kerry's image. Fair or not -- and Kerry to this day says the group grossly distorted his record -- the attacks hurt Kerry and may have cost him the election.
