Once again, proving he is the dullard we all knew he is, John 'F'in Kerry (who served in Vietnam) claims "on September 11 we were basically at peace."

When asked for clarification, he replied, "well, we hadn't declared war," according to the Hill's Sam Youngman and Andy Barr.

Further asked if Al Qaeda was a threat then, he answered, "well yes, obviously they were a threat. But, fundamentally we were not at war at that point in time."

Obvioulsy, the fact that they were at war with us escapes the little pea brained Senator.
