This is not going down well in nutroots land. Obama may have to spend his expected convention "bounce" just to even up the race. Certainly some encouraging news...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - In a sharp turnaround, Republican John McCain has opened a 5-point lead on Democrat Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential race and is seen as a stronger manager of the economy, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.

McCain leads Obama among likely U.S. voters by 46 percent to 41 percent, wiping out Obama's solid 7-point advantage in July and taking his first lead in the monthly Reuters/Zogby poll.

A Kerry VP nomination to a losing demo ticket would effectively end Kerry's political career. Hmmmmm...

Here in Arizona. McCain is up by 10 points, and our Governor strongly supports BO.

I haven't check any AZ stats - think I will - I don't trust Gov Janet N - AT ALL!

These pools change, and rapidly at times. Today at the roll call vote, Arizona had Hillary beat BO 47 to 20 in delegate votes. And that's with the Gov on hand and beating her chest for BO. I wouldn't believe Napolitano if she told me it was Wednesday.

says mcc is up by 10... says 28% uncommitted -

says late conventions and divisive dem campaign most likely the cause of undecideds.

McC won the primary here - he'll most likely win again.

I'm getting my dbf to sign up to vote - the first time in his life!!! I've tried getting him to vote for yrs - I think he's gonna do it this time. he is so against BO.

doesn't like McC tho - neither do I - but I'm voting for him!

Yeah, I'm no McCain fan either, but he'll get my vote too.

I agree! tho, it's Thursday now... lol!

hopefully a lot of the HRC voters will go for McC.

as much as I dislike him and swore I'd never vote for him again...

I have convinced dbf to register to vote tho! yeah! I can do it for him over the computer and he'll get his card in 4 days they told me. then he can request an absentee ballot and mail it it - not even worry if he's out of town election day.

that' s a major step for him - he doesn't like McC either!
