The Georgian Conflict is About November’s Election, Not Oil Pipelines

The day before China’s opening Olympic ceremonies were to begin, Putin orders South Ossetia to break away from Georgia.

Why would Putin do this?

China is becoming a major problem for Russia and in particular Putin and his efforts to conquer America from within. The United States Democrat Party has been controlled by the Communists since the death of John F. Kennedy and until the Clinton’s came along, the Russians have held those reins.

China, feeling emboldened by new prosperity and growing military might, directly challenged the Russians control in the 90’s with their candidate Bill Clinton. Putin has since counter attacked with the selection of Obama through the Chicago political machine, which since JKF has remained in support of Russia.

We keep hearing polls showing Obama losing ground and McCain gaining, with Obama particularly weak amongst Hillary’s strongest demographic, white older than 40 women. This is the Chinese machine pushing for Hillary to be VP. Same people say Obama, being a malignant narcissist, would never choose Hillary as VP, yet this could not be further from the truth. Obama wants to win and how he gets there is no concern for a person with a sociopath personality disorder.

Russia knows this and has to flex its muscles. On the Eve of China’s great ascension as a world super power, Putin reminds China and the petulant juvenile just how strong Russia is and his willingness to use that strength. Putin cannot allow Hillary as VP, for he rightly worries of Hillary’s influence as VP and her potential as President after Obama’s term as President ends.

The people of Gorgi, well all of the Georgians, are asking why the USA and NATO don't come to their rescue since they helped in Iraq. Well, why doesn't Europe come to their rescue? ...it's THEIR oil pipeline that was cut by Putin. We are hated for "invading" other countries or for "interfering" in other countries' internal affairs, so what will "the world community" say if we just sit this one out? Sorry, folks, the "Cowboy" is a lame duck, the Cavalry isn't coming. What would Democrat Nominee for POTUS Barak (not that Hussein) Obama, the "Citizen of the World", do?...he went to Maui to vacation.

It is upsetting. Cannot help but feel for the Georgians. Similar to the treatment we gave the Polish after WWII.

Russians were told over breakfast yesterday what really happened in Georgia: the conflict in South Ossetia was part of a plot by Dick Cheney, the Vice-President, to stop Barak Obama being elected president of the United States.

Read it here.

These grooves from the Cold War grave are shrugged off by many Russians but they strike a chord in a nation ready once again to see itself as the victim of outside conspiracy. Blogs everywhere attract conspiracy lovers but Russian blogs have been exceptionally rich this week in theories of Western skulduggery over Georgia.

The old thinking finds more fertile ground now because, in the view of disillusioned Russians, President Bush relaunched the ideological war through a compliant American media, especially at the time of the invasion of Iraq.

Yeah, right. Rolling Eyes

"Disillusioned Russians" and "disillusioned nutroots" have, apparently, a lot in common.

There is one other thing to consider when it comes to Georgia.
Georgia is dear to the hearts of old line communists of the Soviet Union. Georgia was Stalin's birth place. They can't have their favorite dictator's birth place be out of Russian control.

My assessment of the Georgian conflict was spot on.

Putins latest confirms why I said he went to war, yet of course he says the US was behind it. The timing of his pullback also came right before Obama selected Biden as Putin would have requested.

Quote:
"The suspicion would arise that someone in the United States created this conflict on purpose to stir up the situation and to create an advantage for one of the candidates in the competitive race for the presidency in the United States," Putin said in an interview with CNN.
