I have exhausted my pc site query knowledge concerning death of good friend in RVN, 1968. Listed initially as MIA and KIA one day later from mortar or arty fire. Have long been saddened by the thought he may have died alone and unnoticed by anyone.
Any suggestions for further action on my part to gain access to reports that may clarify what happened are greatly appreciated.
Although I never served in Vietnam, I am honored to know many who did and I am elated to see them set the record straight and am hopeful they will receive the recognition and respect denied them for so long.
They have always had mine.

Larry,

You never mentioned your friend's name. Someone MAY be able to help you, but they can't without that...

Thanks so much for the information on how to request a IDPF form. I had read about the process before but somehow misread that ONLY a family member can request.
May friends name was Ennis "Eugene" Crow
1st Infantry SP4
KIA January 2, 1968
Tay Ninh Province, RVN

OK. Hopefully, there just may be someone out there with some info who reads about SP4 Crow. I do hope so.

You might try searching through this unit website:

There are also some remembrances posted for him here:

Good luck

Ennis Eugene Crow was from Lovington, NM. There are only four "Crow" listings for that town. If you want to contact the family, I would start there.

CROW ENNIS EUGENE SP4 ARMY LOVINGTON NM 02JAN68 S.VIETNAM 01OCT47 HOSTILE,DIED-MISSING
