|
|
Apparently Lurch couldn't gain much steam off of the Pirate hearings, at least not after our SEALs dispatched 3 of them. The Hill is now reporting that Kerry has teamed up with Conyers to hold hearings to save the Dinosaur Media, newspapers.
From the article;
Quote: | “An independent news media is vital to our democracy,” Kerry said in the statement. “It holds power accountable while giving voice to the people and interests who might otherwise never be heard.”
“Whatever the model for the future, we must do all we can to ensure a diverse and independent news media endures,” Kerry said in the statement. |
Is this why Fox News is attacked unmercilessly and they desire to ram the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" down our throats?
It would appear the real goal is to preserve their propaganda mouthpiece. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

Maybe if they would bring back "Dick Tracy" and "Blondie" and "Sky King" and "Li'l Abner" and "Archie" and "Gasoline Alley" and "Alley Oop" and "Peanuts" and "B.C." and "Mary Worth" for the sopa opera fans and some of the other good comics in the Sunday papers, it might be worth saving them, but otherwise, I can buy toilet paper in the 24 pack at Wal-Mart cheaper than I can buy a weekly subscription to the newspaper.

...by the way, he also wants to recreate 1971 and hear from "the troops"...like General Petraeus isn't "the troops"? _________________ Find the perfect babysitter, petsitter, or tutor -- today! |
