After seeing how the Swifties, their supporters and the ad agency they used were treated during the last administration, this article just reaks of hypocrisy.
Source AP
From the article, Quote: | "They also hired AKPD Message and Media, which was founded by David Axelrod, a top adviser to Obama's campaign and now to the White House. AKPD did work for Obama's campaign, and Axelrod's son Michael and Obama's campaign manager David Plouffe work there." |
Also, Quote: | "There is no evidence that Axelrod directly profited from the group's ads. Axelrod took steps to separate himself from AKPD when he joined Obama's White House. AKPD owes him $2 million from his stock sale and will make preset payments over four years, starting with $350,000 on Dec. 31, according to Axelrod's personal financial disclosure report." |
What was all the noise about Cheney and Halliburton these last few years?
I'd also be interested in knowing what their CEO's make, since highly paid CEO's are considered detrimental to the country by the Democrat cartel.
Or, is that also only SOME CEO's? _________________ Clark County Conservative |

This is somewhat remarkable to me, not so much because of the specifics of the "revelation" (symbiotic, often incestuous, relationships at the business end of propagandizing ideology became a given log ago...I wonder who John Adams used?), but for the fact that AP chose to run with this at all.
Why would AP (who rarely misses an opportunity to exploit some perceived chink in conservative armor and just as infrequently the obverse) opt now to peddle what appears to be, on its face, an anti-Obama story?
An answer might be found in the actual depth of AP leftism. It's no secret that the hard core left is outraged by Obama's apparent capitulation on the "public option" initiative, and perhaps this "story" is simply a reflection of leftist petulance and a warning shot across Obama's bow.
Leftists eating their own...pass the popcorn please.
As to Lew's raising the "hypocrisy" flag, there's more than enough of that to go around as well...
Quote: | "In a perfect world, it's a distraction we don't need right now, but these are very gifted consultants who have done very good work," Johnson said. "And it's also important to remember that at the end of the day, the coalition partners determine the message." |
I'm saving that quote for the next leftist screed railing against HRC's utilization of CRC. |

As in the pigs who led the revolution in Animal Farm? _________________ "That awful power, the public opinion of a nation, is created in America by a horde of ignorant, self-complacent simpletons who failed at ditching and shoe making and fetched up in journalism on their way to the poor house."
