If this concrete demonstration of MSM's total indifference to Obama's leftist/marxist ideology wasn't so damn frightening, I might almost enjoy watching this play out from just a political science perspective.

Almost ANY media consideration (to include even liberals such as Bob Beckel) of the abominable appointment of this self-declared, anti-American communist cretin (and now-demonstrable liar) produces a unanimous prognosis...Obama must toss this particular marxist under the nearest proletariat bus.

It will be interesting to note how the following icons of American (cough) "journalism" treat that story when it happens...

The Van Jones (non) feeding frenzy

From a Nexis search a few moments ago:

Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the New York Times: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the Washington Post: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on NBC Nightly News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on ABC World News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on CBS Evening News: 0.

If you were to receive all your news from any one of these outlets, or even all of them together, and you heard about some sort of controversy involving President Obama's Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, your response would be, "Huh?" If you heard that that adviser, Van Jones, had apologized for a number of remarks and positions in the recent past, your response would be, "What?" And if you were in the Obama White House monitoring the Jones situation, you would be hoping that the news organizations listed above continue to hold the line -- otherwise, Jones, who is quite well thought of in Obama circles, would be history.

The Washington Examiner

I do, however, disagree just a bit with Byron York's take. The above mentioned are probably "holding the line" at Obama's behest...as he hasn't yet figured out how best to mitigate the fallout it might have on Wednesday's "Sermon on the Mount".

The silence from the MSM is absolutely deafening. This is incredible.

Gateway Pundit Jim Hoft has it all. If Obama doesn't fire this racist Communist anarchist, it says more about Obama than about Jones...the fact that he ever hired him speaks volumes already...where are those chickens?...they need to get home to roost pronto.

Why is anybody surprised? Obama stated what his intent was and he is carrying it out.

I just hope the country can survive 4 years of his administration.

Now that's the question isn't it. Can we survive as a country? My answer is probably not unless something changes.
I've said it before here on this forum and I'll say it again.
It appears to me that everything he is doing under the guise of fixing the economy is really a way to cause our economy to crater and the dollar to be completely devalued. If that happens we'll have rioting in the streets, Marshall Law declared and a suspension of elections.
We may have quite possibly just had the last presidential election this country will ever have.
Am I a pessimist or a realist?

PostPosted: Sun Sep 06, 2009 5:36 am    Post subject: Communist Red and Green Czar Van Jones RESIGNED! Reply with quote

(story on http://newsbusters.org/)

Breaking just moments ago: Obama's controversial "green jobs" czar Van Jones has resigned. (Chicago Tribune has the details)
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/sns-ap-us-obama-adviser-resigns,0,7496882.story

Will conservatives be able to get more mileage out of this controversy by drawing attention to Obama's heavy use of so-called policy czars? Or is this just a short-term setback for the Obama administration?

World Net Daily has it up now, too.

Fox News has published his letter of resignation now too.

Quote:
"I am resigning my post at the Council on Environmental Quality, effective today.

On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.

I have been inundated with calls - from across the political spectrum - urging me to "stay and fight."

But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future.

It has been a great honor to serve my country and my President in this capacity. I thank everyone who has offered support and encouragement. I am proud to have been able to make a contribution to the clean energy future. I will continue to do so, in the months and years ahead."

As we would expect, it is every bodies fault but his own.

Amazingly, the alphabet media sources are now speaking of this scandal in apologetic tones favoring Jones., after trying to ignore for over a week now.

This will continue to be a non-story.

The resignation was announced early on a SUNDAY (!!!) morning, over a 3-day weekend. By Tuesday, all the political chatter will be about President Obama's welcome-back-to-school-kiddies-here's-your-homework-assignment speech.

Who is going to watch the Sunday morning talk shows to see if this gets any attention? Van who?

But nice job, Glenn Beck. Saul Alinski would be proud Twisted Evil

One isolated and gone, many more to go.

Some are saying the vetting process must have broken down with Van Jones. I don't think it did. I think he was vetted all the way. It's just that the people doing the vetting didn't see anything wrong with what the man stood for. Because they all stand for the same things he did.
Therein lies the real problem. We have a whole administration and half of congress who are essentially Marxist/Socialist/Communists idealists and want to do just what Obama promised he'd do. Fundamentally change this country.
Encouraging to see the public beginning to become aware and outraged. Way to go Glen Beck.

I found out about his resignation at about 11:30 pm Saturday night. At that time, NO news channel (internet or electronic) had picked it up. It is truly scary to see how far in the tank the mainstream journalists are with this Communist admistration.

As we are giving each other high fives, Obama is probably grinning. Van Jones has done his duty. Obama has surrounded himself with 40+ czars. These kooks are there for a purpose. While we try and take one down, it distracts us from taking down the main man. Every one of the czars will fall on his sword before allowing anything or anyone to get to their boss.
We still do need to take down the czars, for only then can we get the Marxist on top.
