I received the following link in email this morning,

We're Americans
Undoubtedly, we all have stories and memories of some incident we either witnessed or participated in that we see as just part of our jobs then.
We didn't have second thoughts, we just did for our fellow man as needed.
We probably weren't asked 'why,' but what better answer could we give than simply what Col. North said?
"That's what we do. We're Americans."
