Paul Schiffer's name certainly has a familiar ring to it and I'm pleased to see his hat in the GOP ring (with an even more familiar figure at his side)...

Swiftboat figure vies for House seat
Without Paul Schiffer, 'John Kerry might have captured the presidency'

An important figure in the 2004 Swift Boat Veterans for Truth campaign is running for the House seat held by Ohio Rep. John Boccieri, who emerged as a key, last-minute supporter of President Obama's health-care reform bill.
Paul Schiffer, a longtime conservative activist and talk-radio host, helped launch the media campaign that many believe was a decisive factor in Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry's defeat. Schiffer also arranged for the publishing of "Unfit for Command," the New York Times No. 1 best-seller that documented the swiftboat vets' claims.
Schiffer is one of four Republicans vying for the party's nomination in Ohio's 16th district May 4.
His campaign will have a swiftboat flavor this weekend when the public face of the 2004 effort, former swiftboat officer John O'Neill, will tour the district with him and be featured at a fundraiser at a veteran's museum.

'President Kerry' a 'truly frightening thought'
As a talk radio host, Schiffer was the first to interview some of the more than 250 members of Swift Boat Veterans' for Truth.
O'Neill, who commanded the same swiftboat in Vietnam as John Kerry, endorsed Schiffer in January.
"I am very proud to endorse Paul Schiffer. Without his help in 2004, given for no gain and against great odds, John Kerry might have captured the presidency – a truly frightening thought to anyone who loves our nation," O'Neill said.
O'Neill added that in a country "that has lost faith in Washington, Paul's selfless idealism calls us forward to a better time for our country. I strongly urge his election. He is exactly the kind of person we need to throw the bums out."

Maybe someone should create a webpage for all the Democrats who voted for Obamacare and post their names and photos and Congressional Districts, sorta like they do for REGISTERED SEX OFFENDERS. _________________ Find the perfect babysitter, petsitter, or tutor -- today! |

It's always good to read of someone who supported the Swifties running for office.
It will be even better to see him elected. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

If you click on his name in the article, the link takes you to his election website.
The most prominent feature, in my unbiased view, is the "bird & the ball."
He deserves a few bucks, if anybody has any money left.
