Ex-Marine, 16 term Democrat Representative from Pennsylvannia, darling of the anti-war Democrats and who was known as "king of pork barrel spending," John Murtha, has died at the age of 77.

An epitaph that speaks for itself. I'll leave it at that. |

Linda Ellis wrote her poem, "The Dash", about the little "dash" on tombstones that sits between the "Born" and "Deceased" dates, in one afternoon several years ago. In 239 words, she captured the "Simple Truths" of why we were put on this earth. I'll leave it to the historians to describe John Murtha's "dash". |

Maybe that task should be left to the Marines from Haditha instead. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

Washington, DC -- April 19, 2010
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for stonewalling the release of documents regarding the late Pennsylvania Congressman John Murtha’s long history of allegedly corrupt behavior, including his connection to the ongoing FBI probe of a congressional earmarking scandal involving the now defunct PMA Group. |
